  • The occupancy for all guest rooms is 2 people regardless of the age of the person. Please do not arrive to check in with more than 2 guests for each room that you have reserved.
  • For the comfort of all guests, Newcastle Inn is a totally smoke-free property. In addition to inside areas, no smoking is permitted in outside areas (backyard, gardens, front walkway, parking lot, screened porch, private decks/porches)
  • Pets (including emotional support dogs) are not permitted in any guest room. Guests traveling with service dogs, as defined by the ADA, are always welcome in any guest room – please contact the innkeepers before arrival.

Check In/Check Out
Check In is between 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. We are not available for early check ins. If you arrive early, please start exploring the area. There is so much to see and do!
Check Out is 11:00 a.m.

If room is for only one person, please enter "None". Children aged 17 and under must share a room with an adult. Occupancy is a maximum of 2 persons per room - including children, no exceptions. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in additional room costs, if available or cancellation of your reservation which is subject to a full charge of the expense for total rooms/nights booked, per our cancellation policy. Roll-away cots and air mattresses are not provided and are not permitted in guest rooms.

Occupancy
Children are welcome at Newcastle Inn. Please note that the occupancy for all guest rooms is two (2) persons per room, regardless of the age of the person (example: if you are a family of two (2) adults and one (1) child, then two (2) rooms would need to be reserved). Children under the age of 17 must share a room with an adult. Roll-away cots and air mattresses are not provided or permitted in guest rooms. If you arrive with more than two (2) people per room, you will be required to reserve an additional room(s), if available. If you choose to cancel your reservation, or if an additional room(s) is not available, you will be charged for all nights of your reservation.

Smoking
By law, no smoking is permitted on the inn’s property. This includes cigars, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and marijuana. Inn property is defined as ALL indoor and outdoor public spaces including the parking lot, backyard, screened porch and outdoor decks and porches, both public and those part of a guest room. A minimum cleaning fee of $300, to cover cleaning costs, etc. will be charged to the credit card on file if it is determined that a guest has violated the inn’s policy.

Alcoholic Beverages
The Newcastle Inn has a Beer and Wine License, according to Maine law, any alcoholic beverages that you bring with you may ONLY be consumed in your private guest room (this includes guest room private deck). Beer or wine purchased from the inn may be enjoyed anywhere in the inn building, deck and grounds (not the parking area).

Lost Room Key
Your credit card will be charged $20.00 for lost room keys.

Room Damages
You are responsible for any damages in your room including, but not limited to broken items, wine stained linens, bath linens used for purposes other than drying oneself.

Quite Hours
Quite hours are between 10:00 pm – 8:00 am. The Newcastle Inn is located in a residential area, please respect our neighbors. Partying, drugs, excessive noise, etc. will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the inn, without refund.

Open Flames
Burning of candles, incense or any other objects in the guest rooms or anywhere else on the inn property is strictly prohibited.

Pets
Newcastle Inn does not allow pets. Only dogs that meet the definition of a service animal, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are allowed. If you are bringing a service dog to the inn, you MUST call the inn directly.

Newcastle Inn is privately owned and we reserve the right to refuse service, or to ask someone to leave if they do not follow our policies.

We are not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

Newcastle Inn guest rooms, and amenities, are for registered guests to enjoy. No one else is permitted to stay in the guest room other than the guest(s) named above, no exceptions.
