We’re pleased to once again participate in the Maine Innkeepers Association “Hospitality for Habitat” program. Last year, the promotion raised more than $15,000, which was divided among the Habitat for Humanity chapters in Maine. The dates for this year are April 20 - May 21, 2015.
This special rate is good for any room priced at $200 or more with a two-night minimum stay. In return for such a great deal on the room rate you make a minimum donation of $35.00 to Habitat for Humanity.
Every dollar donated goes to the 10 Maine chapters of Habitat for Humanity to build homes in Maine for deserving families. The Association has donated nearly $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity since the program began in 2004.
Habitat for Humanity International, based in Americus, Ga., is an ecumenical Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Habitat has built more than 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter, they helped build and had bought with the assistance of no-profit, zero-interest mortgages.
